There’s still some summer left, regardless of what the weather has to say. We’ve rounded up some of the most exciting summer events happening in Hereford before term starts again, so you can have some fun before you get back to your studying.
LakeFest
Taking place at Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Hereford, LakeFest is a family-friendly festival with a focus on the creative. With acts like McFly, Clean Bandit, The Hooziers and The Zutons appearing over the weekend, it’s set to be incredibly fun. There is plenty of other entertainment aside from the music, and day or weekend tickets are still available if you’re looking for something last minute to brighten up your August. This is one of the most iconic upcoming events in Hereford this summer.
The festival is on from 10th-13th August.
A-Level Results Mega Rave
Taking place in clubs across the country, the A-Level Results Mega Rave is coming to Play Nightclub in Hereford. The perfect chance to let loose and celebrate all of your hard work before the university term starts, there will be amazing decor and some absolutely bouncing tunes. The event starts at 11pm and is for over 18s only with tickets for as low as £1.50. Why not get into the freshers party mood a little bit early?

Bromyard ArtWalk
If you’re looking for a really budget friendly day out, jump on the bus to Bromyard – it takes just over half an hour, and you’ll get to spend some time wandering the streets to see all sorts of incredible artwork on display in shop windows. This is completely FREE to see, so if the weather’s nice you can enjoy a lovely walk around with a nice stop for lunch at Emma’s Farmyard Café or a coffee shop called Brew.

Hereford Indie Food Festival
A 3-day festival over the bank holiday weekend, tickets are only £10 per ticket for each evening – or if you go in the daytime, it’s just £3 per person. You’ll be able to dry food and drink from a wealth of amazing independent food stalls, from burgers to beer and pasta to prosecco. And during the evening, you’ll be treated to some amazing music: Craig Charles, Jetski, Eliza May and more. With a makers market and DJ sets, there really is something for everybody at the Hereford Indie Food Festival making it one of the best upcoming events in the area.
