This budget-friendly city centre option has some outdoor seating, and is highly regarded as one of the best places to eat in Hereford – especially for students! It offers pizza, wraps, salads, flatbreads, cake, hot & cold drinks and more, with plenty of vegetarian options and generous portion sizes. It’s roughly a 13 minute walk from our No.1 Station Approach accommodation, too.
Lichfield Vaults
About 10 minutes from our Hereford student accommodation on foot, Lichfield Vaults is a traditional city centre pub with a twist; it serves delicious Greek and Mediterranean food alongside the usual range of beers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks. It has a large beer garden with plenty of seating and parasols, making it the perfect choice for a teatime outing during the warmer months!
The Monument
Perfect for quick and affordable service, The Monument has outdoor seating for both food and drink. It’s a bit further away from our accommodation at around a 30-minute walk, but if you’re out that way then it’s a great choice for traditional pub grub and all of your standard drinks. La Madeleine
A little bit pricier, this Church Street café/bistro is perfect when you want to treat yourself – or if you have family visiting who are happy to pick up the bill! It has a lovely outside terrace for al fresco dining, which is a complete sun trap, and the food is delectable. With a range of salads, breakfast options, cakes, wine, steak… the list goes on, and this is just a lovely place to visit for a special occasion in Hereford. You can walk here in roughly a quarter of an hour from No.1 Station Approach.
The Beefy Boys
Looking to devour juicy flavoursome burgers in the sunshine? The Beefy Boys is for you, with their outdoor seating area and famously delicious American-style burgers. With really customisable options and plenty of side dishes to choose from, you won’t be disappointed. This is 15 minutes away from our accommodation on foot, making it the perfect choice if you’re looking for bars and restaurants in Hereford with outdoor seating.
